Tyler became pastor of FBC Star City in March of 2022. He grew up in Northwest Arkansas, where he gave his life to the Lord at 17 years old. He surrendered to the ministry a few months after giving his life to Jesus. He served as Student Pastor in Arkansas and Mississippi since 2008. He earned his Master's of Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary in 2018.

Tyler has been married to Haley since 2013 and they have 2 children, Asher and Abigail. He loves spending time with his wife and children. Tyler loves sports, especially Texas Longhorns football and Memphis Grizzlies basketball. He loves to travel and laugh with his family and friends.
