Stewart Pearson has served as the Minister of Worship for First Baptist since 2015.  Stewart was born 15 weeks premature weighing only 19 oz and was on life-support for 3 1/2 months.  The oxygen that was given  to him to keep him alive blinded him.  As an infant and young child he faced many crisis’s and challenges but God not only healed him,  He blessed him with the love of music.  Stewart has dedicated his life to serving Jesus.  After high school, he obtained a degree in music from  UA-Monticello (UAM).  He is also on the radio every Friday night during football season broadcasting the SC Bulldog football games as the historian/analyst.  They have two segments called “Stew-pedia” and “Stump the Stew”.
